Mary Troy To Read At Missouri State University On March 24
Moon City Press is excited to announce that Mary Troy will be reading at Missouri State University this Friday, March 24, at 7 p.m. in the PSU Theatre. The author will also do a signing after the reading in Paw Prints.
MCP had the honor of publishing Mary’s latest novel, Swimming on Hwy N, as part of its Missouri Author Series, in 2016. Mary is the author of four other books of fiction: the novel Beauties and three collections of short stories (Cookie Lily, The Alibi Café and Other Stories, and Joe Baker is Dead). She has won numerous writing awards, including the USA Book Award, the Devil’s Kitchen Award, and a Nelson Algren Award. She teaches fiction writing and contemporary literature in the MFA program of the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where she edits Natural Bridge, a journal of contemporary literature.
The reading is free and open to the public.
