Laura Hendrix Ezell Wins the 2015 Moon City Short Fiction Award

The editors of Moon City Press are pleased to announce the winner of their 2015 Moon City 11850721_10152906161030755_4519319701620157700_oShort Fiction Award. This year’s prize goes to Laura Hendrix Ezell of Cookeville, Tennessee, for her collection, A Record of Our Debts. Laura’s collection will be published by MCP in April, 2016, and she also will receive the $1000 prize! Congrats to Laura!

Bio:
Laura Hendrix Ezell’s work has appeared in Mid-American ReviewMcSweeney’sThe Kenyon Review, and The Chapbook. She holds masters degrees in Fiction and Library and Information Studies from The University of Alabama. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. and working as an academic advisor in Tennessee, where she lives with her husband, dogs, and new baby daughter.
